Kala DeHart is a young, talented singer, songwriter, who with her band RiverTown has put together a collection of original music. Kala wrote the music and lyrics and she and the band put the songs together. Kala also does a large selection of cover music that includes Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Gretchen Wilson, and many others (please see song list). Kala has become well known in the Tri-State area and along with her band has played most every fair and festival in the area. You can hear her voice howlin' from either side of the Kentucky/West Virginia border that she calls home. The proof of Sasha Colette's lyrical ability partnered with her day to day vocal work is richly obvious within the first bit of any tune from this corn fed girl that you could hear. Blending vocal mercy, haunted beginnings and raging desire Colette has no problem laying chills across any crowd and I have seen it done! She and her then band The Magnolias drew the masses from the camps and gatherings all around Appalachian Uprising (Scottown, Ohio) in 2012 and teased the sass right into them making headlines online and in print for weeks after the performance.
